EFFECT OF BRAIN-BASED LEARNING ON STUDENTS’ MATHEMATICS PERFORMANCE AT ELEMENTARY LEVEL

Brain-Based Learning (BBL) is an instructional approach that addresses students’ achievement and learning goals from the perspective of human brain. It entails specialised procedures centred on how memory, attention, motivation, conceptual cognitive work. The current experimental study was designed to investigate effect BBL elementary academic performance in mathematics. employed a single subject A-B-A research design. participants under investigation were eighth graders public school selected using intact group. During treatment phase (B), principal researcher taught students concepts related financial arithmetic, polynomials factorisation focusing activities; visual storytelling, back-to-board, role play, i-Think maps brainstorming imagery. These activities based 12 principles. course study, researchers collected data nine times one-tier MCQs tests. analysed analysis one-way repeated measure ANOVA. Partial eta value (.317) revealed significantly affects performance. To improve mathematics performance, recommended practitioners teach level principles-based activities.
